Our clean, crisp Pale has mild sweet and grainy flavors and aromas and is fully modified for high extract and enzyme potential. Made from 2-row Newdale barley, our Pale elevates lighter styles like Kolsch, Blondes, Pales, Pilsners and as a foundational malt for any style. 1.8-2.4 SRM.
Organic Pale Base
Certified by MOFGA, this is our organic version of our Pale malt. Using the same 2-row Newdale variety, this malt is well-modified for high extract and diastatic power. Great base for any organic brew.
Legend Six-Row Pils
The Legend barley variety is a unique addition to our lineup. In order to highlight the inherent grainy, grassy and earthy flavors and the terroir of Northern Maine where it was grown, we gently kilned the slightly less modified kernels to achieve a traditional Pils style malt that is light in color. 1.7 SRM.
Yankee Pils (Two-Row)
Made with an eye to a gentler process in the steep, germination, and kilning to yield a super light, grainy finish while still well modified for high potential extract. 1.4 SRM;
Our lightly kilned Wheat malt provides flavors and aromas of sweet cereals along with light color and high extract. Maybe our favorite malt to see on the germination floor!
Pronounced "VYE-enna" in a nod to the Maine town by the same name, this malt comes packed with notes of hazelnuts, bread crusts and honey. 3-4 SRM;
Our Light Munich is a medium kilned malt giving flavors of lightly toasted bread crust rounded by a deep biscuity sweetness and hints of peanut butter. 4-6 SRM.
Darker color, more intense toasty flavors and aromas come with our melanoidin-rich Dark Munich, along with notes of graham crackers and biscuits. 10-12 SRM.
